Hand carved Bamboo Ducks Being individualy hand carved the ducks each have their own character The Ducks are an attractive addition to your indoor or outdoor figures sealed with Teak or vegetable oil bringing out the grain of the teak head and legs plus reveals the texture in the root giving a feathering appearance, this makes them perfectly safe and ideal for outdoor use. The Ducks are carved from the root of the Bamboo. The root was a waste product and together with off cuts of Teak is joined to the bamboo root, shaped, pinned and glued together then shaped and hand carved to produce the ducks we see today. They are available in two sizes: The 'Large Ducks' are approximately 18" high and the 'Ducklings' are approximately 8" high and when collected together with the large ducks create a perfect duck family.
The Ducks are shown and supplied sealed with teak oil making them ideal for outdoor use.
For outdoor use periodically top them up with a quick rub down with teak oil or vegetable oil. Oiling details are included with each duck. They look good and are suitable in the home, garden, patio or round the pond. The perfect pet.
